ABOUT US

Founded in 1987 and becoming fully student run in 2023, the Monash University Tennis Club brings together players of all levels to enjoy and grow through the game of tennis.

Our mission is to create an inclusive and supportive community where everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned competitors, can thrive both on and off the court.

We are passionate about fostering accessibility, equitable representation, and a strong sense of belonging within our club.

Tennis offers not only a fun and social way to stay active but also builds confidence, focus and teamwork.

MEMBERSHIP

Our membership is open to players of all levels, providing a welcoming environment for everyone to get involved in tennis at Monash.

All members will receive a 50% court hire discount when booking with Monash Sport (conditions apply).

Membership follows the calendar year and is valid until 31 December 2026.

TRAINING

The Monash University Tennis Club (MUTC) offers a range of FREE weekly training sessions exclusive to members, catering to all playing standards.

• Beginner Hitting Session (1-3.49 UTR): Monday 10am-12pm (Week 1 - 12)
• Intermediate Hitting Session (3.5-5.99 UTR): Tuesday 2pm-4pm (Week 1 - 12)
• Advanced Hitting Session (6+ UTR): Wednesday 6:30pm - 9:30pm 
• Women's Power Hour: Thursday 11am - 12pm (Week 1 - 12) 

Additionally, members are provided discounted access to:

• Cardio Tennis: Thursday 6:30pm - 7:30pm (Weeks 1,4,8)
  • Member Pricing: $20 --> $5
• Beginner Workshop: Thursday 6:30pm - 8:30pm (Weeks 2,6,10)
  • Member Pricing: $30 --> $10 
• Social Competition: Friday 5:30pm - 8pm 
  • Member Pricing (Singles): $30 --> $15 (Weeks 3,5,7,9,10)
  • Member Pricing (Doubles): $25 --> $10 (Weeks 2,4,6,8)
