Varsity Athletics offers you the chance to represent Monash University in competitions against other universities at local, national, and occasionally international levels. 

Each year, our teams take part in a variety of events such as the Big Blue Varsity Challenge and UniSport Nationals. Join your fellow Monash athletes, enhance your university experience, and be part of something truly special!

Eligibility

All Monash students are invited to try out for a Monash Varsity Sport team. Trials typically take place between February and June, depending on the sport and event.

All Varsity athletes must be enrolled in at least one unit at Monash in the year of competing.

Athletes are required to meet the qualifying standards set by UniSport Australia. These time standards can be found here.

UniSport Athletics Championships:

22nd - 24th of April

Gold Coast Performance Centre
1 Sports Drive, Runaway Bay, QLD 4216

Both men’s and women’s competitions. Multi-class events will also be offered in the competition.
