Varsity Tennis offers you the chance to represent Monash University in competitions against other universities at local, national, and occasionally international levels. 

Each year, our teams take part in a variety of events such as the Big Blue Varsity Challenge and UniSport Nationals. Join your fellow Monash athletes, enhance your university experience, and be part of something truly special!

Eligibility

All Monash students are invited to try out for a Monash Varsity Sport team. Trials typically take place between February and June, depending on the sport and event.

All Varsity athletes must be enrolled in at least one unit at Monash in the year of competing.

2026 Varsity Events

Big Blue (Monash v Melbourne Uni):

Wednesday 13th May

Tennis Courts, Monash University Clayton

Both men’s and women’s competitions will be offered.

UniSport Nationals:

Nationals will be held from 26th September - 3rd October. More details regarding nationals will be released soon.

Perth, WA

Both men’s and women’s competitions will be offered.
