Since its student-led establishment in 1965, the Monash Dance Society (MDS) has shaped a rich legacy at Monash University, dedicated to fostering a dynamic and inclusive dance community. Offering affordable professional dance classes led by experienced instructors, MDS caters to all levels, providing a platform for members to express themselves and build confidence in their chosen styles. Beyond the studio, our club hosts social events, fostering connections and enhancing the overall dance experience. MEMBERSHIP

Pricing

• Membership: $15/year | $10/half year (Sem 2)
• Casual classes (members): $10/class
• Casual classes (non-members): $15/class
• Semester Package*: $50/sem (early bird); $60/regular

*Semester Packages are only for Members. You need to have a membership in order to purchase a package for the whole semester.

Membership includes

• Access to member-exclusive events and facilities.
• Discounted rates on classes and workshops.

Semester packages include

• Access to classes of your chosen dance style within the semester / half-semester
• Discounted rates compared to casual class rates.

Week one of semester, all classes are free!

MDS is a part of FFAM , a collective of university dance clubs in Melbourne (including Flare, Funkadelics, & AOS). If you're an MDS member, you become a part of the FFAMMily and receive special offers to events during the year!
